Summer weather and lukewarm significant other interest has me perusing convertible 2 seaters. But which one? The catch: must comfortably seat 6'4" driver (sorry Miata).
Contestant one: the venerable and popular Boxster, like this example:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Contestant 2: why look at one German when you can look at 2? Example:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Contestant 3: some say real men drive a V8. This man says he knows C6s have lots of leg room, and his wife has a thing for Corvettes. Sure she likes C7s better, but what am I, made of money?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
What say you oppo?

Any 2-seater with a bulkhead behind the seats may be challenging for legroom and seat recline range. I’d suggest something with at least a nominal “back seat” even if real humans don’t actually fit back there. It’ll give more room. Like, say, a 911.

See not made of money comment.
I’ve got about 1500 miles behind the wheel of a Cayman comfortably, so I’d be optimistic about a boxer.

Daily: a not-burnt-orange C6
Track: a not-burnt-orange C6
Burn: the two Germans that I like but that will certainly be infinitely less reliable than the not-burnt-orange C6

DD - Z4
Track - Vette
Burn - Boxster. I’m a Porsche guy, but I can’t fit in Boxsters comfortably so they are useless to me.

This is the first one of these where I have burnt the bimmer, but their electric racks are trash.
I have another burner, try to guess it!

I’d think I’d go for the vette, under the assumption that it’ll have more legroom than all the others. Some it’s front engines and considerably bigger than the BMW. plus any GM will be cheaper to maintain than any bimmer.

DD the Z4 because someone else thought it was good enough to drive 25k a year.
Track Porsche because there is no substitute.
Burn the corvette because it is just A breath away from the dump anyway.

Get the Boxster. Tons of fun, perfect for long drives, lost of storage in frunk and trunk. Plus, it drives like not much else.
